- Objectives
- Conduct regular Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), including the mandatory Basic and Advanced Courses in Medical Education Technology.
- Facilitate implementation and monitoring of the Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum.
- Support departments in developing innovative teaching-learning and assessment methods.
- Promote integration across disciplines, including vertical and horizontal curricular integration.
- Serve as a resource center for medical education research, pedagogy, and instructional design.
- Provide technical support for the development of e-learning modules and digital education strategies.
- Key Activities
- Organizing Basic and Advanced Medical Education Training Programs.
- Conducting workshops on curriculum planning, assessment techniques and reflective learning.
- Reviewing and facilitating teaching-learning innovations, including small group teaching, Self-Directed Learning, and Skill Labs.
- Supporting the Academic Committee in curriculum design, planning, and monitoring.
- Promoting research in medical education by mentoring faculty in educational project development and publication.
